What is BOTOX® used for?
At Plastic Surgery of Southern Connecticut BOTOX® is used to treat dynamic wrinkles of the face and muscular cords of the neck. The areas most commonly treated are the wrinkles between the eyebrows (glabellar frown lines), forehead and crowsfeet.
Are the effects of BOTOX® permanent?
When used for wrinkle reduction the effects of BOTOX® are temporary, with muscle function (and the associated wrinkling) usually returning within four to six months.
